Foam Suppliers
By injecting gas into liquid rubber of all kinds, we at Kirkfield manufacture a complete range of foam rubber products. These lightweight, soft and durable foam materials are perfect for cushioning, padding and insulating.
What Foam Rubber Products do we supply?
Choose from the types of foam rubber below to find the right foam for your application. We supply both closed and open-cell foams, as well as K-CellTM Foam, which has semi-closed cells, providing the best of both.
- Closed-cell foam types are semi-rigid, with good thermal insulation and water resistance.
- Open-cell foam types are softer, more flexible, lightweight materials that can compress and return to their original shapes quickly.

A Wide Range of Foam Rubber
Supersoft K-Cell™ Foam
Supersoft K-CellTM Foam is a lightweight, versatile foam with semi-closed cells. It is easily compressed and recovers from compression quickly without losing structure, making it perfect for padding and packaging. This foam is fantastic for outdoor use, as it has great weather and UV resistance, as well as fire-resistance and insulating properties.
EPDM Foam
This closed-cell foam is made from EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer), a flexible, weatherproof, chemical-resistant synthetic rubber. EPDM Foam has high heat tolerance, provides excellent sound and vibration insulation, and is used in creating airtight and watertight seals and gaskets. This EDPM Foam (or Sponge) has uses in the automotive, construction, HVAC, marine, energy and technology industries.
Neoprene Foam
Another closed-cell foam, neoprene foam is soft, stretchable, weather and ozone resistant. It is commonly used for water sports equipment, diving suits, orthopaedic supports and boots, thanks to its high durability and resistance to water, oil and other solvents.
Fireseal™ Acoustic Foam
Fireseal™ is an open-cell noise-reduction foam which, as the name suggests, is highly fire-resistant, with a class 0 fire rating. It is non-fibrous, anti-fungal, and offers excellent sound absorption characteristics. With low air erosion, it does not create dust or small particles when in high airflow, making it a great choice for air conditioning manufacturers and for lining ducting to reduce noise.
Open-Cell Profile Foam
Our Open-cell Profile Foam is used for soundproofing, packaging, insulation, and more. A high-quality acoustic foam, the shaped surface is designed to absorb and disperse soundwaves, reducing noise impact from machinery or cooling fans, and is often used to sound-proof recording studios.
Polyethylene Foam
Polyethylene foam or PE foam is a closed-cell foam which is very strong and resilient. This firm and rigid sponge is well-suited for industrial and commercial applications including:
- Shock absorption
- Packaging
- Thermal insulation
- Acoustic soundproofing
PE foam is also commonly used in the manufacture of buoyancy aids and kneeling pads, as it is lightweight yet resistant to wear and tear.
PVC Foam
PVC or Poly Vinyl Chloride foam is a closed-cell foam that can be applied in many situations. Used in cushioning, cosmetics, anti-vibration, sound deadening, gasket foam and unsupported foam, PVC foam is popular due to its good resistance to solvents, moisture and fatigue. It is also flexible, mouldable and highly durable.
