Neoprene Rubber Sheet Manufacturers
Perfect for marine and outdoor applications, neoprene rubber is a soft, flexible rubber manufactured in the UK by Kirkfield. We provide 2mm & 3mm neoprene rubber sheet, as well as other grades, bespoke to customer specifications. This synthetic rubber is often used for gaskets and hoses, as well as sports equipment and wetsuits because it is highly durable and able to withstand extreme environments. We supply neoprene rubber sheets for projects with wide surface areas, such as covering equipment or manufacturing products such as wetsuits.
The Special Characteristics of Neoprene Sheet
Neoprene rubber is a valuable synthetic rubber because of its excellent mechanical properties. These include:
- Excellent resistance to chemicals and solutions
- Waterproof
- Abrasion-resistant
- Buoyant
- Moderately flexible
- Flame Retardant
- Heat-resistant and non-conductive
Supplier of Small And Large Quantities of Neoprene Sheet
Whether it’s a couple of sheets for a small batch run or a bulk order of neoprene sheet, we’ll meet your requirements. We manufacture and supply neoprene sheet in any quantity, so get in touch and send us your specifications. The size of the order doesn’t matter to us, so call now and request a sample of our neoprene sheet.
Neoprene Thicknesses Available
Because it is manufactured by pouring a liquid into a mould, we are able to make neoprene any thickness between 1.5mm – 65mm. In some cases you may need a thin 2mm neoprene rubber sheet, for example for manufacturing products such as wetsuits, or coating other products. In other cases, thicker neoprene sheet can be used as cushioning, for example noise insulation in power transformers.
We Provide Bespoke And Custom Neoprene Sheet
At Kirkfield Rubber & Adhesive Products, we manufacture Neoprene sheet to our customers’ requirements, so get in touch to request a neoprene sample or get a quote for your project.
Neoprene Sheet FAQs

What is Neoprene Sheet?
Neoprene rubber is a type of synthetic rubber that is produced by polymerizing chloroprene. It is a highly versatile, durable and flexible material that has many practical applications. Neoprene rubber, chemically known as polychloroprene, is known for its excellent resistance to heat, weathering, oils, and chemicals. These properties make it ideal for use in harsh environments. Neoprene Rubber Sheet is a flat, rectangular piece of neoprene which can be produced in many different sizes.
What Can Neoprene Sheet Be Used For?
Neoprene is commonly used for the mass production of items as varied as knee braces, wetsuits, fuel hoses, gaskets and seals. Neoprene sheet is well-suited for use in linings and shock/noise absorption in the construction and electronics industries.
What Grades/Thickness of Neoprene Sheet Can We Supply?
We supply grade KN002 neoprene, with sheets in any thickness from 1.5 to 65mm.
Is Neoprene Sheet Environmentally Friendly?
Neoprene, chemically known as polychloroprene, is a polymer or plastic material derived from petrochemicals such as crude oil. These materials are considered ‘fossil materials’ because they are manufactured from oil that formed over hundreds of millions of years from ancient plant matter. Because these are not renewable products, neoprene cannot be considered sustainable.
At present, the processes of polymerisation and vulcanisation that produce neoprene contribute to carbon dioxide emissions and air pollution. Neoprene does not biodegrade when it is no longer usable, but certain facilities can recycle neoprene.
The material’s durability, however, means that it can be used for a long time, during which another material may need to be replaced. Neoprene is a useful, long-lasting material and its properties are required in many applications, such as medical equipment, but neoprene should not be considered a sustainable or eco-friendly material.
