Polyethylene
Closed Cell Cross Linked Polyethylene - FR Grade also available
Polyethylene is a common thermoplastic polymer which can be categorised into either a low density or high density grade, normally between 25kg - 67kg.
Polyethylene is a buoyant plastic which does not absorb water making it an ideal candidate for plumbing and packaging applications. In comparison to other closed cell sponges, polyethylene is a relatively low cost material and can be easily formed into shapes through routing, vac forming, moulding and punching. It is also an ideal material to use for protecting component's and can also be reused many times.
Applications include:
Our Polyethylene is available in sheets, continuous roll form, gaskets and strips. It can also be manufactured to a range of different sizes and thicknesses, to discuss your requirements or place an order - contact us today!
